Just a little break from all the business :D
Heart is the only female student in Basic Obedience class, and she happens to be a Beagle, just like Odie! She has been going near Odie since orientation, but because the two of them are smallest in class (we have one Border Collie and the rest are Golden Retriever littermates), it might be dangerous for them to have free play time while the bigger dogs are leashed.
Heart and Odie, sitting in a tree... you know the rest :D |
Doc Marose, their teacher, noticed that the two beagles are always right next to each other. They have been sniffing each other for quite a while too. That's about the only interaction they've been getting though, and surprisingly, even if we sometimes let the two have physical contact while leashed, Odie has NEVER humped Heart! Such a gentleman! Yesterday was the last day before the puppies' Christmas break, and teacher asked Grace (Heart's human) and I if we wanted to let the two beagles play unleashed. I thought she'd never ask! So we waited for the bigger dogs to go home, did the usual collar tug, and unclipped the babies from their leashes. Although Heart would always go near Odie when she's leashed, what happened when they were free running was a surprise!
Upon going home, I was so sure there was more than one happy heart :)
AWW!!! PUPPY LOVE!!! Odie is such a gentleman! :))
ReplyDeleteI know! So much respect for his kind, not humping female beagles and all. I thought he stopped humping entirely but he did it on my leg just now :((
DeleteHahahaha, practicing the moves! Tsk tsk. Odie, you have to wait 'til you're old enough. :|
DeleteMy boys hump each other (and our other dogs), but never people! Thank goodness!
Just a couple of months away huhu... Don't grow up too fast please :((
DeleteOdie humps my leg occasionally. Mas madalas sa arm/s. And once sa BACK! Doc said it's extreme happiness lang naman daw, but it's still humping so it's a bit disturbing HAHA!
