Pendragon Veterinary Clinic was recommended to me by my sister, Bea. That's where she takes
Moxie and Theo for their regular check-ups, and like I mentioned in one of my comments, it's a legit animal hospital that offers laboratory work, confinement, surgeries, among other things. The vets there are very nice, and the place, although on the second floor, is very well kept. They have lots of promos on their
Facebook page, too! This is my latest loot from them:

BAM! Treats! |
I got three sets of Sleeky treats in different flavors, for a total of only P301. That's a pretty good deal as they sell one pack for P65, so this would normally cost P390 in their clinic, and close to P80/pack in malls. This would be a great addition to the homemade liver treats I usually make, and the Jerhigh Hotdog Bar that Odie loves. Well, he seems to love anything and everything, from treats to Christmas bulbs to tissue paper, but I always hope that he prioritizes food.
Breaking news, I also won a large pet tag! I already have one from them when I got Odie microchipped at
Doggy Day Camp, but it's a small, ready-made tag that only contained the microchip number and the contact number of VetAID, the maker of the microchip. This time, I get to choose a shape, color, and the information I'm going to put, all for only P205 instead of P550!
It's really a big help that I'm finding so many essentials at bargain prices, just so I could stretch my paychecks and provide as much as I can for Odie, and maybe a little for myself as well. Hopefully, in a month or two, we could get our hands on our very own
Lupine lead and collar!
I tried desperately to bid on 3 different items (but all dog tags) so I could get one for each puppy, but... later on I remembered why I didn't even buy them on Sulit (it might get stuck on the flooring of their crates).
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, their deals are so good! I always miss the good ones because I'm only active online when I'm at work... and auctions end when I'm at home or I'm already asleep. Hahaha!
I remove Odie's collar (where I'm going to attach the tag) whenever it's time to go inside the crate. It's just a chore to do so because putting on and taking off the collar seems so amusing to him. He likes to pick up his collar and run away from me while biting his collar! Same thing with his leash. Whenever I go near him, he runs in the opposite direction :((
DeleteI gave up on the Furminator and the nail grinder. Kind of desperate, but I turned on the notifications on my phone so I can easily see if there are things I might need HAHA. I really keep an eye on the things I want, but I also set a ceiling price for myself. I hate it when some people bid so high early on rarrr!!!
It is a chore! Especially since they both have the belt-type ones instead of the buckle-type ones. :| And yes, they seem to get excited about collars and leashes. :| So babaw. Haha
DeleteHay, I think I'll never be able to win something there because of my ceiling price. Iknow! I hate it when people bid 50 pesos higher! :| Malay nila, with just five more pesos, they win it na, instead they have to spend 45 pesos more. :))
I don't think I can deal with the belt-type collar! Sometimes when we put his collar on, we wonder why it won't fit, yun pala he's biting it :|
DeleteExactly! I don't like the ones who bid super high! Sayang nga the pet tag I won, the last bid was 200, then I put 205. I could have won it with 201 :)) My sister sometimes puts a big gap when she sees it's out of her budget na, just so the ones who'd win it would have to spend more :))
Did that the first time you told me about Pendragon auctions... Or I just bid little by little even though I have no intentions of winning. Just to annoy people... haha! Then my mother got mad because I was winning and I also panicked. Hahaha! Who knew auctions could be so addictive. :|
DeleteDIBA?? Some people who win are happy to get the item for 5-10 pesos less than the original price. Then they have to pay for it by going there or by going to the bank :| WALA RIN! :)) I guess it's addictive in a sense that, winning the auction means you're still spending for things you're not even sure you really need :))
